Ana is the best. I have 2 labs, 6 and 7, both spoiled rotten and set in their ways. I thought training would be useless. Was I surprised! From the first lesson my dogs became calmer. They knew commands but I had to be trained to enforce them. You cannot find a more loving, knowledgeable professional than Ana.

After reading her reviews and experience online I had a feeling Ana was the right dog trainer. We currently have a foster dog who was showing signs of aggression towards men and protective of the house to all strangers. When I spoke with Ana she confirmed my feelings that she was the right trainer for us. We were looking for guidance and how to make this dog adoptable. Over the phone call she mentioned I should start thinking about muzzle training as I had concerns on how would he react at a vet office. Sure enough within a week he needed to go in and luckily I had a muzzle and started getting him used to that to make the experience easier. After her in person evaluation we had a good experience. Our dog was protective as expected, but she explained some things we could do to redirect the dog and some ways we can help socialize him safely. She also picked up on an injury our dog had that we hadn’t thought about. Overall we are very pleased with Kismet Canine training and looking forward to implementing her suggestions.

Ana was not only great with our dog, Billy, but she was great with us as well. She made training our wild dog seem possible, when previously it felt impossible. He’s made so much progress since working with Ana. I’d definitely work with her again and I’d recommend her to anyone looking to train a dog, especially those with reactivity issues.

In all honesty, my husband and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Kismet Canine Training. Last October, we helped a friend out and picked up a German Shepherd that she adopted. After she backed out we began trying to find this handsome boy a home. My husband and I had no experience with German Shepherd’s and this boy Pharoah was in his terrible two’s. To make a long story short, he wasn’t easy, he had fits when he went to the park and would completely go crazy in the back yard when the little dog next door barked through the fence. My husband and I sent him to two trainers and even though it helped, we were still dealing with the same major issues. Everything changed when a friend referred Anna Maria. She was the game changer. She is so professional and knowledgeable. After working with Pharoah and using the Kismet Training principles we honestly enjoy our dog Pharoah. I’m so grateful!!! I highly recommend Kismet Training and Anna Maria over any trainer and training concepts I have found. It’s worth every penny. Ana Maria is an amazing trainer, and I highly recommend her. She has helped many of our rescue dogs. The improvement of their behavior resulted in their adoptions. Ana Maria is professional and thorough in her methods and training of dogs. Five stars!
